THE END.

And that's all. Six years of my life I have been living in this high school... and now... what will happen? Will be better the future? I hope so... Really... how could the years pass so fast?? I can't believe it!!! Is it true that have passed 6 years since I entered to this high school? 6 YEARS!  I remember when I was doing 2nd ESO... I said to me: wow... I still have four years to finish! What a loooong time...

I have lived a lot of great moments in this high school. I have also lived bad moments, of course... but when I grow up, I know I will remember this period with a big smile. I have learnt a lot and I have changed.

I won't miss only the ambience, the companions, the great moments (Italy, Playback,...). I will miss the teachers too! Really... Thanks for all :)

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away... oh yesterday, came suddenly...

FINAL REFLECTION: MY ENGLISH COMPETENCE 2012

Really, I don't know which oral presentation I have to choose. For me, anyone of them are good. But I think the best I have done is the last one, my oral presentation about my Research Project. (although my horrible voice in that moment!)
Best oral evidence:

Best written evidence:

On one hand, I have choose my presentation of my Research Project because it was the first oral presentation I didn't need to read the paper all the time. In addition, I love the theme, so it was more easier for me to talk about it :)

On the other hand, I think my best written post was "WHY?".  I'm not saying it's very well written, without spelling mistakes... However, I believe it's a post who's well structured. Moreover, it's very philosopher and interesting... For this reason I think it's my best work in this blog.

FINAL REFLECTION: MY ENGLISH PROGRESS

In comparation of my first post in 2010, my english expression has enriched. Most of all with the connectors and the adjectives: slighlty, quite, extremely, although, as long as,.. I learnt too a lot of false friends as: carpet, sensitive and sensible, college,... and I have learnt also a lot of phrasal verbs I didn't know before! But the most important thing I can see, is that I have more fluency of language now. I can express myself very well in comparation from 4th ESO. Here you can see my first post:
http://natalia-space.blogspot.com.es/2009/10/email-to-teacher.html

However, I don't find too much differences with the structure and the content in my posts.

Here you have my first podcast:
http://www.divshare.com/download/9609283-18c
And the last oral presentation:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=H7MFzlaVVJg

Moreover, I think I have improved my pronunciation.. But not too much. It's so difficult for me... In any case, I can say I have developed my fluency of language and presentations this year. Before, It was impossible to me to do an oral presentation... I don't like them either, but at least I could do them in a more easily way... On the other hand, when I translate my Rawiora's short movie I learnt a lot, because I used typical english expressions which said to me Rebecca.

In addition, I have to say that I have found a personal development in my posts. I'm the same childish girl who talks always about the same impossible things, but I can see an evolution in my blog, a personal and mentally evolution. As long as the years have passed, I have became more worried... Selectivitat and my future are near, and I notice it. In 4th ESO my posts were more optimists and childish!

HAPPINESS (is a waaarm guuun...)

I read a post on Andrea's blog about happiness and it left me thinking.

How do you know when you are really happy? In the deepness of your heart.  I feel happy when I'm watching my favorite movie. I feel euphoric when I write stories and I record videos. I feel happy everytime I talk with my best friend Víctor, or everytime I'm into Pau's arms. When I'm listening to The Beatles I am very hilarious!

But... is this the real happiness? How can I know that? Because when my favorite movie ends I'm sad. Because I can't be always doing what I love, as write stories or record videos. Because I can't always talk with Víctor, and Pau is not every day by my side. Because when a Beatles song ends, I need to listen to another one before I fall in the real life, in the routine, in the sadness.

So, in conclusion, happiness is an intermittent thing. It's not always here. But we are always looking for it! That's life: a pursuit of happiness. So I'll live!! And I hope that someday, I will be able to answer all these questions! I'll live the best I can... although it seems difficult, sometimes.

Few minutes ago, Víctor has said to me something I had forgot... and that was something I said in Rawiora! "You always have to find the good things even if they are only small details... they can be so important."

Do you know...? I want to be happy. I want to find happiness. And I'll do. Because I can't live this way. The problem is that I don't know what I'm looking for... Oh please, I need that Mr. Shawder takes me to the Nommon....

GOODBYE PEP!

I'm not very fond of football, but I'm proud of Barça. It's the football team of my country, Catalunya. They are really good football players and Pep has been an very important person into the club. He has been amazing... I don't know how to say this. I mean, he has always believed with his team, he always has brought confidence, vitality, calmness, recognition... during these years, he has been everything for the Barça. And we'll miss him a lot, but Tito will do it well I think!

This video almost made me cry... it's extremely emotional... it had to be so emotive to be there in that moment... my brother was! But it's funny when Pep is trying to escape of the players and he can't... Hahaha poor man! I love the moment when sounds Coldplay and they are on a circle... :) It must be incredible to be in the middle of the pitch where thousand of people are there for you... You have to feel yourself as a God. Maybe Guardiola is a God.

 THANKS PEP!!!!! THANKS FOR ALL!!!!!

MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR...

I want to do a Magical Mystery Tour. I NEED to do a Magical Mystery Tour. With The Beatles. Or alone if it's necessary. So far away from here.

Roll up, roll up for the magical mystery tour, step right this way.
Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour.
THAT'S AN INVITATION, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up TO MAKE A RESERVATION, roll up for the mystery tour.

The magical mystery tour is waiting to take you away,

Waiting to take you away.
The magical mystery tour is hoping to take you away,
Hoping to take you away.
The magical mystery tour is coming to take you away,
Coming to take you away.
The magical mystery tour is dying to take you away,
Dying to take you away, take you today.

I REALLY NEED IT! I'll do anything! I'll make a reservation right now, please, take me away! Ooooh please, take me away Magical Mystery Tour... It must be amazing to go with The Beatles in a Mystery Tour... I would see new places, I would live a lot of new adventures, I would meet a lot of new people... I would be always listening to the music! And taking relax, seeing the sky with diamonds, staying in the strawberry fields,... The trip of my life!

THE ARTIST: A MASTERPIECE

The Artist is a french romantic comedy drama in the style of a black and white silent movie. It's written and directed by Michel Hazanavicius and it's starring by Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo. The story takes place in Hollywood, between 1927 and 1932. It's focused in the relationship of an older silent actor and a rising young actress, in the moment when the mute cinema fell out of fashion and it was replaced by the talkies. The Artist has won a lot of prizes... and really, I can understand why. It worths.

I watched it some days ago. I love watching movies, so everytime I can, I go to the videoclub and I choose a film. Thats time I chose The Artist. The only thing I knew about this movie was that it won a lot of prizes (inclusive the dog that appears won an Oscar!) In consequence, I decided to watch it and therefore, I would be able to give an opinion.

I think it's a really original movie! It starts as a silent film, I found it very interesting. You can see a lot of symbolism (a thing I love about movies). The Artist is entertaining, funny, dramatic... On the other hand, the actors are awesome. Indeed, they have done a magisterial work! In conclusion, A MASTERPIECE. Everyone who's fond of cinema MUST see it.

For example, some "dialogues" which make me think is this:
Peppy Miller: [answer to question at interview] out with the old and make way for the new, that's life.
George Valentin: [after getting up and gesturing to his chair] I've made way for you.

"I've made way for you..." What a truth! All started with silent movies, so actors and actress of talkies would have to show the due respect to the "old" actors.

Clifton: If you want to be an actress, you need to have something others don't.

This quote reminded me of Johnny... what an obsession! I don't know, but I like very much this quote and it makes me think...

In summary, I recommend this movie to all people who loves cinema!! (or to everyone who wants to enjoy during two hours!)

TITANIC EXHIBITION IN BARCELONA

Since I saw Titanic's movie in 1st of Eso, I have been really interested in it. I have read books, I have seen documentals,... It's amazing. In consequence, I needed to go to Titanic's exhibition in Barcelona!! And I went there :) There was a LOT OF PEOPLE. We had to done two hours to enter... but it worth it. Really.

First, we had to enter for a gangway, where they took us a photograph. We bought the photo... it really seems we are in the Titanic! Afterwards, they gave us auriculars. As long as we were listening to the record, it was guiding us through the different rooms. There were a lot of photographs, objects which were found in Titanic's rests and also in the pockets deads...

There was a lot of stories into that transatlantic. I started to cry as long as I was listening to them. For example, there was a couple who decided to die together, holding each other in a cabin, because the husband couldn't get on the lifeboats and his wife decided to stay with him.

It's a tragic story, but really, it happened because they wanted.... I mean, there's a lot of things that Titanic's tripulation didn't care:

First of all, there wasn't enough lifeboats. It should have had 64 rowboats with a capacity for 72 people and they put only 32. Why? Because they thought it wasn't aesthetic and also that people couldn't bask in the sun very well because of the little space. Moreover, when Titanic was sinking, there were a lot of lifeboats with ONLY 15 PEOPLE. And they had capacity to 72!!!

A part from that, if White Star Line's president, Bruce Ismay, hadn't wanted to go too fast, they could evade the iceberg... Captain's Smith was asking him that, but he didn't listen him. Finally, we have remember that they forget their binoculars... so it's understandable they didn't see before the iceberg.

In the exhibition there was a mini iceberg. They said that it had the same temperature as the sea water when Titanic sank. That cold was unbearable; I couldn't take it more than 10 seconds! Poor people... Really, it's an interesting exhibition and I recommend it to everybody!! I'm extremely sensitive and I cried...

As you can see, there was a lot of Titanic's sceneries, like this suite.

In conclusion, what a pity that Titanic is now under the sea... it was a INCREDIBLE transatlantic,... I can't believe it yet.

MY EASTER HOLIDAYS IN GALÍCIA

Last Easter I went to Galícia with my grandparents, my brother and his girlfriend. I loved that trip! Really, I loooove to travel.  I think you learn a lot of things when you're traveling... I like to know other cultures, food, ways of thinking... it's interesting. My conclusion of Galicia is that there people is more friendly than here... but I understand why.

We started our trip at 9 am. Oh my God... we stayed into the car a lot of time!! First day, we drove to Sant Sebastià. Although I had been there before, I enjoyed it. Second day we went to Sanxenxo, in Pontevedra (Galícia). We stayed a lot of time more into the car... But it was entertained because landscapes were extremely beautifuls!! And we were listening to the music, so the trip wasn't so hard.

I fell in love with Galícia. Landscapes, food, people, little towns,... I really enjoyed a lot. I liked more villages than cities. For example, the part of Rías Baixas was AMAZING. I didn't want to go away from there. Little towns near the sea were nice.. what a wonderful place to live in!

Firstly, we went to Santiago de Compostela. What a beautiful cathedral! I ate typical Santiago's cake... I loved it!! Then we went to Pontevedra.

On the second day in Galicia we went to Rias Baixas, as I said. Little villages and islands as La Toja (where I bought the famous soap!), O Grove (we went on a ship where they gave us a lot of mussels), Cambados, Arousa Island (there was a lighthouse in the middle of the rocks), and finally, Combarro (in that town there were a lot of "hórreos"). There you can see some photos:

This church is made with a lot of shells! (La Toja)

 Me in Arousa Island

One of the typical "hórreos" of Galícia (Combarro)

We went also to Tuy (the last galician's town) and to Portugal, in a fortified village. One funny anecdote is that in Portugal we found... "Licor de Merda!" I saw it before in Buenafuente's TV programme... but I laughed a lot! The best part is that in the label it is written: "Extracted from reliable shit". Moreover, "year" in portuguese is called "ano"... Extracted from reliable shit, Ano 1875. My gosh!
Here you are:

Our last visit in Galicia was Finisterre (Costa da Morte). I really loved it! It was a quiet place, on the sea... very inspirational... So next day we started our return trip. We stopped in Burgos, where we slept. People seemed to be cold and distant compared with Galícia... but it's a colossal city and I liked it a lot!

In summary, here you can see a bit of my travel. I want to travel more and more!!

INFORMAL LETTER: DEATH OF A BEEKEEPER

Hi Paul!

How are you? I miss you a lot... I hope you are fine living in London!

I still remember you used to love nature and animals. I've just finished to read a book called "Death of a Beekeeper", by Lars Gufstasson and I thought you would love it. It talks about a Beekeeper called Edward, who explains his work is dying in his country. However, he carries on and he explains how he does it. A part from that, he talks about his life with the bees. It's very interesting! Do you remember when you told me you wanted to be a beekeeper?? I thought of you instead when I read it!

By the way, next summer I'll go to London... I'd love to met you! I hope we'll keep in touch.

See you soon my friend!

Rawiora Sylew

VÍCTOR: A PERSON WHO HAS MADE AN IMPRESSION ON ME

From the first time I met with my best friend, Víctor, he made an impression on me. I had never believed I would met someone so similar to me. I met him on Internet, thanks to our interest in PortAventura.

Víctor is 17 years old and he lives in Barcelona. He's slightly tall and quite thin (although he's always saying he's fat...) He has brown curly hair and his eyes have green effects when the Sun shines on them.

He's very creative and smart. I love this fact of him! He's always writing stories and playing the piano. (He made Rawiora's soundtrack! He's an artist.) I REALLY love his imagination.

He loves cinema and music. His thoughts are so similar to mine. So many times we have a strange connectation. I mean, I know what he's thinking in a moment and he knows what I'm thinking. It's like a telepathy!

In conclusion, he always knows how to make me feel better. I admire him and the things he does. I wish our friendship never died.

DIRECTION: PARÍS! TIM BURTON'S EXPOSITION :)

That June we are going to París! :) I'm so excited about that... I LOVE travel, but I can't do it a lot of times... there's no money! But Tim Burton's MoMA Exposition is now in París and I decided to go there. IT'S AN OBLIGATION. I have done all the possible to go there... next week we're going to buy the train tickets :) When I said it to my parents, at first, they thought I was getting mad. But they accepted! Afterwards I said it to my friends... and they wanted to travel to París too! So I'm happy because I won't travel alone... I'm going to París with the best company :)

We are deciding where to go. At the moment, we'll visit the Tour Eiffel, Moulin Rouge (we'll be in apartment on Montmatre, so we'll be near!) Opera of Paris, Notre Dame, "Catacombas", Louvre Museum, Versailles, Amélie's Bar (Les deux Moulins), old cemeteries,... and of course... TIM BURTON'S EXPOSITION. At least, one of my dreams will come true!! It would be exciting we'll meet Tim at the exposition, isn't it? I think I would die.

Here you can see some photos of Burton's exposition:

LOOOOOVE!

I'm scared...

THE LOVE OF MY LIFE! EDWAARD! What a pity it's not the real Johnny!

As you can see, there are the materials he used in his movies. I want to scream a lot. IT'S JUST AMAZING! It would be my paradise... my dreams come to reality. All his universe I've been dreaming for these years... and I will see it.

Spanish King Juan Carlos sorry for Botswana hunt trip

"King Juan Carlos has apologised to the Spanish people for going on a hunting trip in Africa while his country was in the midst of an economic crisis.
His trip to Botswana, which was widely criticised, emerged after he was flown home for treatment for a fractured hip. He broke his hip falling on a step and was flown home by private jet. He underwent hip replacement surgery on Saturday.

"I'm very sorry, I made a mistake. It won't happen again," he said, as he left San Jose hospital in Madrid. It was widely reported that he had been hunting elephants, which the royal house has neither confirmed nor denied.

After news of his visit to Botswana was revealed, many Spanish newspapers published a photo of the king dating back to 2006, in which he is seen standing with a gun beside a dead elephant. The king, 74, is honorary president of the Spanish branch of conservation group WWF and an online petition calling for his resignation had accumulated almost 85,000 signatures by the time he made his public apology."

I have been thinking about this news but I couldn't understand... why? Why is this man killing elephants in Botswana? Maybe it would be better if one of these incredibles animals had squashed him. Well, first of all... why is this man Spain's King? I don't know why we have to have a monarchy... For God's sake, we are living in the 21th century!  I really felt extremely annoyed when I read the news. I'm totally against monarchy but they could be better. But no... one of them is stealing us, another shoots their feets... but killing elephants in Botswana!!! That's so much for me. What's the problem with this family? Why have we to pay them? Is anyone of them smart???!!

Apart from that, he was president of the Spanish branch of WWF!! What a shame, that's so disgusting. And then he apologizes his acts! You haven't got to make it and that's all! What a hypocrisy...

I don't like my country. I hate the fact that in my passport appears "Spanish Nationality". I don't feel myself as spanish, I have never felt this way. We have to evolute NOW! We have always been behind other countries as France or Deutschland.... why? I know it's Franco's fault in part. But what more? Is it for religion, spanish people thoughts, monarchy...? Pleaseee, Francesc Macià and Lluís Companys... come back!!!

WHY?

Why I was born? And who I am? I didn't choose born. They didn't ask me if I wanted to born this way, in this country, in this planet. All would be more easier if I hadn't born... sometimes I think about non-existence. And I feel very quite... and nostalgic. Afterwards, I start to wish it. Imagine you hadn't ever existed. That's a thought I have ever had since I was a child. Really, I wasn't normal, I think. I explain it now, and people stare at me strangely. They say to me it's not normal that a child thinks about death and non-existence all the time. But I did. I liked loneliness because it let me think without problems about the world, people, life, death...

And I still being the same. However, if a child who doesn't have to get worry about anything thinks about all these problems... imagine a teenager. Society, the world,... are over me and I can't do anything. I don't know who I want to be in my life!!!!! I don't know what I want to do, where I want to go!!! And I haven't had time to discover myself. First, I was in school and I didn't think calmly about my future. In the highschool I started, but I found myself in 4th ESO and I wasn't sure about who I wanted to be in my life. Afterwards, I found myself in Batxillerat and I'm living a stressed and miserable life. I don't know why I'm studying these subjects. I don't know what I'm doing with my life and I don't know what I want to do next year. And exam behind exam, projects, "selectivitat",... I don't have time to find myself! To find what I want to be!

I don't know which is my element. I mean... Everyone is good in something. There are a lot of artists, writers, scientists... who are brilliant in some kind of thing. But I don't know if I am really good in something... because I didn't find it yet and it makes me so sad. Right now I'm living a stressed life. I have never got splendid marks, and now I have to fight for really good marks to enter to college.. and I still not know what I really want to do in my life, what I want to study. Because I don't know if I will be good in Audiovisual Communication. In fact, I don't even know I will be able to enter. Actually, I have lived a depression during first and second term. I tried my best to study, because I need really good marks... But it was impossible, I couldn't concentrate... Now I'm getting better marks, but it's too late.

Had never been born. In summary, I love this idea. Despite of I'm late.

That's what I am in the world. Only a person.

EAST AFRICAN FAMINE (SOMALIA)

"Tens of thousands of Somalis have died of malnutrition-related causes; three million Somalis are in urgent need of aid and more than 10 million are at risk. By early August, aid groups were trying to scale up their operations, and the United Nations began airlifting emergency food. But the two parts of southern Somalia where famine was declared are controlled by Al Shabab, a brutal Islamist group that is aligned with Al Qaeda. Many aid organizations are reluctant to venture into Shabab areas because of the obvious dangers."

http://topics.nytimes.com/topics/reference/timestopics/subjects/f/famine/index.html

Where are human rights here? People have the right to food. Why are they dying of starvation? Why Al Shabab is denying to the population this elemental right? Why doesn't he help them?

In my country there's a lot of problems. I don't even want to think about them. However, we are so much privileged. Of course we don't have all the human rights... but at least, we can feed ourselves. The situation it's different.. but I can't tell you why. Really, I don't know why the world it's divided up in this way.. I wish I could know it because I would try to change it. We can help them, but Al Shabab is making it more difficult...

Today, as almost everyday, I'm in a pessimistic way and I don't see any solution... because we need to change world's system and it's unlikely. However, we can fight for a better way of life, of course, as ONGs does!!

PAUL MCCARTNEY + JOHNNY DEPP = *NATALIA'S SCREAM*

When I heard Paul McCartney was working with Johnny Depp I almost died. They are two of my idols... I really loooove them! I listened the song before, but now I can watch the new video I'm so happy :')

I think this song is precious. It's calm and it has beautiful lyrics. I love the moment where Paul sings: My vaalentiineee... and appears Johnny's face. Yeees, this love of mine, my valentine... In the scene where Johnny plays the guitar I'm overwhelmed with peace.

This video directed by Paul McCartney it's very elegant. There only appear Natalie Portman and Johnny Depp in black and white, without any special effect. They are interpreting the song with delicate movements and nothing else. In consequence... don't you think this video inspires a lot of peace? I really love it. As I said a lot of times before, I'm a nervous person (though it doesn't seem so) and I like this song and video because it's able to calm me (although Johnny's stare is really enigmatic and it disconcerts me.)

What if it rained?
We didn't care.
She said that someday soon
The sun was gonna shine.
And she was right,
this love of mine,
my Valentine...

This paragraph talks perfectly about love and its blindness and optimism. When you are in love, things seems better than they are... and Paul can demonstrate it very well in this song :)

And I will love her for life
And I will never let a day go by
Without remembering the reasons why
She makes me certain
That I can fly

I looooove this part!  Don't ask me why... because I can't express it with words!

Paul McCartney's son wants to form band with children of John, George and Ringo

Paul McCartney's son James has told the BBC that he is interested in teaming up with the sons of his father's former bandmates to form The Beatles: The Next Generation. "I don't think it's something that Zak [Starkey] wants to do," says McCartney. "Maybe Jason [Starkey] would want to do it. I'd be up for it. Sean [Lennon] seemed to be into it, Dhani [Harrison] seemed to be into it. I'd be happy to do it."

McCartney, 34, is furthering his solo career by performing soon at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, the old stomping grounds of his father's band. The rocker says he chose to play there because he wants to "just to embrace the Beatles legacy rather than running away from it."

I almost died when I read it. I've always wanted to live 60's Beatlemania!! Maybe I'm about to live Beatlemania 2.0!!! Moreover, the sons are identic of the fathers.. don't you think it? It would be like see The Beatles on concert again... :') it would be my dream come to reality... I know it's IMPOSSIBLE to be in one Beatles concert (sadly...). But I have to see it with optimism... I might go to a Beatles sons concert!!! :D

On the other hand, I don't know if I have to be excited about it. The Beatles were fantastic; I can't express with words what they were into the music world. And I don't know if it's correct to try to be like them, because it's impossible. Even if they are their sons. However, it's nice to think about Beatles next Generation... how you can see, I don't know what to think about it!!! Time will say it...

JK Rowling announces title of first adult novel

Author JK Rowling has announced her first adult novel will be called The Casual Vacancy. The Harry Potter writer revealed in February that she was working on the book, and said it would be "very different" from her previous material.

The book will be published worldwide in hardback, e-book and as an audio download and CD on 27 September. "The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry's success has brought me," Rowling said.

The story is centred on the death of Barry Fairweather, whose unexpected passing shocks the local villagers of Pagford. The company describes the tale as being "blackly comic, thought-provoking and constantly surprising".

I haven't read any book of Rowling in exception of Harry Potter. I'm extremely fond of this saga! Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone was the first novel I read (without drawings and a lot of lyrics). Since this moment, Hogwarts catched me.. and right now, I'm very fond of all this world as before. So I would be glad to read another book by Rowling! Moreover, this new one seems so interesting... although I'll have to read it on summer, because now I can't do anything but study... I want to do what I love, but it seems I have to wait more and more and more...

SANT JORDI

April 23th is Saint George's day (it's like Valentine's day). According to the tradition, the man has to give a rose to his partner and on the other hand, the woman has to give a book to her love.

It's so romantic... but it's too difficult to choose a book!! (and more expensive, of course...). Instead, it's easy to buy a rose... they are all the same. I have this problem right now! I don't know what to buy to my dear one! There are so many books... I know the kind of book he likes though I'm always doubting about which I have to choose. Although my thoughts, I like the fact he'll give me a rose. I definitely loooove roses! It's my favorite flower :)

I don't know why I love roses. Maybe it's because of the colour. Red is a powerful colour... (though not all the roses are red!). Everytime I think about red a few thoughts came to my head. First one, a dragon. A red dragon... and afterwards, Dragon Khan, of course!! Fire, roses, blood, love... all them seem stunning things, aren't they?

In summary, I think boys have it more easier than girls. However, I'll try to choose the correct book! In any case... what matter is the intention, isn't it? ;)

I wanna lay you down in a bed of roses... (8)

EDWARD SCISSORHANDS... for me.

Edward Scissorhands is not only a movie for me, it's more than that. Maybe people think I'm mad, but this is true, this film changed my life. It seems my life has a purpose after saw this movie. It helped me be who I am today, I see myself in every word, in every Edward's reactions,... I saw it first time on December 2008. I felt completly lost,... I was down, I was drowning but it came on just in time!

Tim Burton always know how to make me feel better with all his movies and stories. They are my escape when I'm stuck in this small town, they let me know like no one else that it's okay to be myself. In conclusion, I think the movie is more special for me is Edward Scissorhands. Probably it is because I saw it in a difficult moment for me. I saw myself in Edward's character (and I still see it!) and I don't know why, but it brings me security, hope,... I love this story. I have seen it a thousand times and I don't get bored!

I was in a black hole and suddenly, Edward appeared. And with him, appeared Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. Since that moment, they became my idols, my inspiration. My new way of life. I already knew about Tim Burton and Johnny's movies, but Edward Scissorhands shocked me and afterwards I watched again his movies.

I love Johnny as Edward. I think he wasn't acting... he was Edward in every way. Johnny said this movie saved his life, so we have a big thing in common :) When I say that for me Edward Scissorhands is the movie where Johnny appears more handsome, people laugh at me. But I really think it. He's so cute, so innocent,... I love him in every single way. And I don't give a shit what people thinks about it :D

I love the way his eyes shine when he smiles. He transmits a lot of peace...

FORMAL LETTER TO BARACK OBAMA

March 19, 2012

President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue N.W.
Washington, D.C. 20500

Dear Mr. President;

Joseph Kony has been acting in a cruel way for twenty years. He is the most dangerous criminal in the world currently, at least to our knowledge. I am sure there are more dictators like him. Anyhow, thanks to Jason Russell, we know who he is and what has been doing Kony and now is in our hands stop him. However, we need a powerful state as United States to achieve it.

All people are entitled to their human rights, but in Uganda it seems impossible right now. I hope you can order the army to stop him, because everyone deserve to have their rights. In consequence, we all hope you can understand the situation and the army can achieve this dream which all we have.

Yours faithfully,

Natàlia Sellés

HUMAN RIGHTS QUESTIONS

    1. What are human rights?
Human rights are a fundamental rights which a person has to have because she or he is a human being. They are universal, applicable everywhere, and egalitarian, the same for everyone.
    2. Why were they created?
There are many reasons to know why were they created. First, because it was necessary: everyone has to have their human rights. On the other hand, there have been a lot of barbarous acts which have outrage the conscience of mankind and it's essential that man doesn't be compelled to have recourse to rebellion against tirany and oppresion. Also, there have to be a friendly relations between nations, because all of us are humans and all of us have to be treated as equal.
    3. How many human rights are there?
There are 30 articles of the human rights.
    4. Which human right were you not familiar with? Mention an example where this human right is respected and where it is not respected.
    1. All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
I think this human right is not respected and we can demostrate it even here, in Spain. There aren't a spirit of brotherhood between spanish people, or so it seems. And also, I don't believe we born free. It seems our lives are written. You have to go to school, later to the highschool, you have to study more and after, you have to work (if you find one). It's what they want, and it seems it's what you have to do. All of us. Where is freedom? It's only an illusion. But well, we don't have to be so radicals. It's true we are able to chose what we want... a job, a house, a car, a wife or a husband,...
On the other hand, were are the equal rights? Spain's King has not the same laws as the other people, for example. Or you can find it in the example of Camps: why is he different? In my opinion, people have to think about this article.
    5. No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
Luckily, where I live this human right is respected. But there are a lot of countries where, sadly, it isn't. For example, we can see Uganda. And I'm sure there are a lot of countries more that we don't know about. If we see the past, all the human rights were broken. The clearest example: nazism. A thousand of jewish were subjected to torture and inhuman treatment.

MY HUMAN RIGHTS REFLECTION...

All of us must have our human rights. We are living in the same world and we have to respect each other. But there are a lot of human rights which are not respected in a lot of places on the Earth, sadly. For example, I don't think we are free. What about this countries where women seem slaves? Why they don't have their human rights? I don't believe they are able to chose what they want. And there's a lot of countries too where people don't feel secure, and this is another human right.

Luckily, it seems the article 5 (No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.) is more respected now than before. But we have seen in Kony's video that's not true. And of course, there have to be a lot of countries more where it happens, but we don't know about them. On the other hand, I don't believe everyone is recognised everywhere as a person before the law. Sadly, it seems money has the total power in this planet. You can do what you want, and after, when you must go to prison, you can pay or you can contract important lawyers... and you're free again! Where is the law here? And... why there are some people who are able to break them?

When I read the article 13 ((1) Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state. (2) Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.) I thought about North's Corea. They live under a dictature and they have no freedom of anything. It's extremely difficult for them to leave the country. We are always in the same problem: there are so many states who haven't human rights. Why? And how can we change it? In consequence, there are a lot of countries where aren't a freedom of thought, conscience and religion. I know in a past the situation was worst. But again we are in the same problem!

I could be talking about it a long long time: about free education, children rights,... but I have already arrived to my conclusion. Human rights have developed a lot. In contrast, there are a lot of countries which don't have them. Anyway, there's always the same question: what we can do to change it? It's truly difficult to remodelate the way of thinking about this states, this cultures... However, we mustn't forget these human rights. We are all humans, we have the same rights as equal. In my opinion, we have to think about it...

DARK SHADOWS IS COMIIING!

I'm the happier person in the world right now. Dark Shadows trailer has come and on May 11th we'll be able to watch the movie in the cinema!! I can't wait anymore! Since Alice in Wonderland (2010) I haven't seen a Tim Burton's movie in the cinema... and this 2012 I'll see Dark Shadows and Frankenweenie!

First time I saw the trailer two days before, I was surprised. I didn't imagine how would be the movie... but now I know it and I'm so excited and impatient to watch it! Moreover, Johnny looks so sexy in this movie, isn't he? :)

According to the trailer, the film seems very funny and entertaining. Furthermore it has the typical Burton's essence and in consequence, I really love it. The character of the witch has taken me aback.... what the hell she wants to do with my Johnny?

In summary, I think it'll be a great and enjoyable movie :) I'll watch it in the premiere, so I'll do a film-review in the blog talking about it, sure! See you later and enjoy the trailer as I do ;)

MY IDEAL PARTNER

My ideal partner should be between 17 and 25 (in exception of Johnny Depp). It would be better if he lives near me, in Catalunya.

I prefer if he's tall, with rather long hair and also broad-shouldered. I really love men who have a stubble! I definetely want someone who takes care of himself.

On the other hand, he has to love travel and he has also to love rollercoasters! A part from that, cinema is too important for me. Consequently, I want somebody who likes it! By the way, he mustn't be extremely religious! I'm rather nervous, so I need someone who can calm myself. Finally, I have to say I definetely hate routine... for this reason I want a man who can make me feel that everyday is different.
I love my independence, so in consequence I can't be with somebody who always wants to control me. He mustn't be possessive or extremely jealous! I'm very fond of my friends and I don't want to go away from them.

In conclusion, I hardly ever would ask someone out only for his body. For me, the most important thing is the inner part and his actions.

When I was writing it I was thinking of a particular person. Here you are a photo of him :)

Isn't he cute? Joke, I was thinking of another person ;)
Here you are:

He's my ideal partner, Pau :)

QUADRUPLET BOYS BORN IN BRISTOL ON "LEAP DAY"

"A woman in Bristol has given birth to quadruplets, who were all born on "leap day", 11 weeks early. Emma Robbins gave birth to four boys by Caesarean section within six minutes of each other on Wednesday night at St Michael's maternity hospital. Zachary, Rueben, Joshua and Samuel are all said to be doing well. All four were conceived naturally, and two of the babies are identical twins.

A consultant said it was "exceedingly rare" for quadruplets to be conceived naturally. Mrs Robbins said she was "surprised" when a scan showed she was pregnant with quads. The babies were born after 29 weeks and one day of pregnancy, on 29 February."

Mrs. Robins

Can you imagine to give birth to quadruplets? It must be horrible! Give birth scares me a lot, so I can't think about the idea of a quadruplet (in particular if they are conceived naturally!!) On the other hand, it seems incredible they were born on 29 february. It has been a big coincidence! Moreover, two of them are twins.... it's all too strange.

But babies are ok, and that's the most important. In my opinion they will be very suprised when they discover how and when they were born! I think their mum won't want to have more babies...

ALICE IN WONDERLAND PARTY AT THE WHITE HOUSE

An apparently lavish Alice in Wonderland party at the White House has been criticised in a new book. The 2009 event saw the State Dining Room redecorated by film director Tim Burton, and was attended by Johnny Depp, President Obama and his wife. It was described by New York Times correspondent Jodi Kantor in her book, The Obamas.

After excerpts from the book were published, Britain's Telegraph newspaper described the Alice In Wonderland event as "an embarrassment for a White House that seems not to have heard of the age of austerity". But a White House official said the party was "no secret".

The Telegraph's Alex Spillius wrote: "Depp greeted guests in the costume he had worn in a film version of the Lewis Carroll story released around the same time by (Tim) Burton - the film's director - who was given carte blanche to transform the state dining room into a Mad Hatter's tea party."

In Kantor's book, The Obamas, she states: "White House officials were so nervous about how a splashy, Hollywood-esque party would look to jobless Americans or their representatives in Congress, who would soon vote on health care, that the event was not discussed publicly and Burton and Depp's contributions went unacknowledged."

But White House spokesman Eric Shultz denied Kantor's version of events.
"This was an event for local school children from the Washington DC area and for hundreds of military families. "If we wanted this event to be a secret, we probably wouldn't have invited the press corps to cover it, release photos of it to Flickr, or post a video from it on the White House website," he said in a statement released to Politico, a political news website.

I don't know what happens with humanity. What's wrong about celebrate a Wonderland's party in the White House? Yes, I know it's the White House, so it's so important and formal, bla bla bla. It was an event for local children! What do they want? A formal and BORING party? I'm so glad of Burton and Johnny's participation. Really, it had to be awesome, what a wonderful idea! I would give anything because this has happened to me! My home decorated as Alice in Wonderland's movie... mmmm... :) (including Tim and Johnny)

In my opinion, there are too many bored people in the world. They don't accept imagination and creativity... and it's so sad. What's wrong about that? Creativity makes the world better. It gives us hope, hapiness,... it makes us evolute. And not only to us but the world. I think all this people who criticizes people who's different of them are jealous. Simply. On the other hand, they don't believe in themselves, they think they can't achieve their dreams... and they only want to make believe this to the other people.
I wonder why they don't just shut up. If they are a failures it's not our problem... we could help them to start believing in themselves, but simply they don't let us.

To be extremely proud it's so bad.

In conclusion, I love the idea of the White House. It had to be an incredible party with the best company. Children had to enjoy a lot! In conclusion, I love the idea of the White House. It had to be an incredible party with the best company. Children had to enjoy a lot! We have to be creatives... we don't have to listen to that kind of people! Just... live our lifes with hapiness :)

CARNIVAL 2012

This Carnival was very improvised. I decided the costume three days before... the result was: MRS. LOVETT! of Sweeney Todd's movie :)

I was talking on Messenger with my friend Pau, and I started to say some possible costumes. Finally, we decided that Sweeney Todd and Mrs.Lovett were the more feasible costumes... :) Here you are the result:

Pau and me as Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett

We are not professionals, so in my opinion the costumes were incredible.

Pau was very sexy... :) I painted his hair with white spray... it was funny! Alexandra and Natàlia Varela used a lot of makeup for his face... and for mine too. Thank you girls!

We used false blood too, of course ;)

First night we went to Sant Pere Pescador, my town. During the afternoon, we listened to the music in Varela's house and afterwards we started to makeup and dress ourselves. Finally, we went to the party. We danced (and drank) a lot. I've never used a corset before and sometimes I couldn't breath!

We met with a lot of people who said that the costumes were awesome :) we were so proud! Guillermo met us and he ask for a photo :)

Natàlia Varela was dressed as a hippie, Fani as a peasant and Alexandra... well, I don't know. She was saying she was a person without crisis... here you are a photo to see her smile:

When the party finished we went to a flat to sleep.

But Carnival didn't stop there... next weekend we went to Castelló, but not as Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett. Pau didn't dress up, and I was dressed up as... George Harrison! February 25th was his birthday and I decided to honor him... I bought a Beatles wig, round glasses, I painted a white t-shirt.. and voilà! Here you are a photo of the t-shirt and another one of me with wig...

I really love this hair *-*

Finally, we went to "sleep" at Alexandra's house. It was an incredible weekend... :)
