ORAL PRESENTATION ABOUT TIM BURTON

There's my oral presentation. I was nervous, so it's horrible. But well.

I'm Natàlia Sellés and now I'm going to talk about Tim Burton, as always.

At first I have to say that Tim is an american film director, writter and artist. Burton started to record short films using stop motion when he was 13. He was a very introspective person, and he wasn't a very good student, but he found his pleasure painting, writing, watching films,... He loved terror films, and his favorite actor was Vincent Price.

Well, I have said that Tim is a writer too. He had written a book of poems called The Melancholy Dead of Oyster Boy, and in this book are strange poems. For example, this drawing is Stain Boy, a character of one of his poems.

But the most famous poem of him is The Nightmare Before Christmas, a poem that he wrote and then Henry Selick convert it in a film.

Tim Burton has got his own style, that is characterized mainly by the darkness and gothic look. 

In all his films appears a lot of spirals, dead dogs, because the dog is his favorite animal, clowns, scarecrows...

A lot of his films take place on Christmas, and appears the relation between father and son.

The characters are lonely, pale, with dark hair, high and very thin, with big eyes but small mouth.

Another characteristic of Tim Burton is that he use many times the same actors. The two importants are Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter; Johnny has been in 7 movies of him, because he's his best friend since they met in Edward Scissorhands. And Helena is his wife, and she has been in 6 movies of him. Then are Christopher Lee, Winona Ryder, Jack Nicholson,... who have appeared in several movies of him. 

Another great characteristic of his movies, I think, is the music. Danny Elfman has been the composer of all his movies, except Sweeney Todd and Ed Wood. In my opinion he's a great musician, and I think that a movie of Tim Burton and the music of Danny Elfman are a great combination.

To finish I'd like to talk about his future projects: Frankenweenie, Dark Shadows and Maleficient.

Frankenweenie at first was a short film about a boy who revives his dog, and now he's recording it as a large film in black and white. 

Then, when he will finish Frankenweenie, he will record Dark Shadows, a story of vampires starring by Johnny Depp.

And finally, he maybe will record Maleficient, a remake of Sleeping Beauty story, and it will be starring by Angelina Jolie.

As conclusion, I think that Tim Burton has got a great talent, and I like his own style, and I hope that he will record a lot of movies more.

Self-evaluation:

In my opinion I did it quite well. I was nervous, but I talked about 5 minutes, and I think that you could understand my english. I read at the paper many times... that's the problem.

Thirteen & Adrian Mole

Tracy at first was a good student, nice person, with true friends,... but she let influence by other people for be more popular. She starts to take drugs, alcohol, have sex, steal... Evie isn't a good model for her, but she should have personality, and she shouldn't try to be as Evie!
Adrian isn't as Tracy. They haven't got a great relation with his parents, because the parents of Tracy are divorced, and the parents of Adrian almost have divorced, too. But Adrian has got more personality, and he doesn't lets him influence by other, so I think that he won't be as Tracy. He doesn't takes drugs, alcohol... but he has got adolescent problems; he fall in love, he discuss with his bestfriend... 

There are a lot of people like Tracy. I have lost some friends because they wanted to be like others, and not themselves. They are now taking drugs, a lot of alcohol, they don't study... It's very sad.

"If you're not that way, you're nothing"
This quote it's VERY STUPID. In my opinion, I think that if you want to be as others and not yourself, then yes, you're nothing. Only a copy.

"Beauty is truth"
Tracys is a fashion victim because she wants to look good. She's very surface, and she doesn't see the inside of a person. She only think to buy nice clothes for be "popular" and "cool" (and she's only a idiot, but she doesn't see it.)

 I think that the movie is shocking, because I can't believe that there are so many idiots in the world. Moreover, Tracy and Evie are only 13 years old!

Adrian is an adolescent too, but he's more responsable. 

The oldest known embryos of a dinosaur

"Palaeontologists have identified the oldest known dinosaur embryos, belonging to a species that lived some 190 million years ago. The eggs of Massospondylus, containing well-perserved embryos, were unearthed in South Africa back in 1976.
The cientifics used the embryos to reconstruct what the dinosaurs babies might have looked liked when they were live.

Massospondylus belonged to a group of dinosaurs known as prosauropods. They were huge, four-legged dinosaurs with long necks.

The researchers studied the skeletons, which are 20cm-long, and they noted that the embryos were almost about to hatch, but unfortunately, they never had the chance.

Once hatched, the babies would have had rather long front legs, meaning that they would have been walking on all fours rather than on two legs like the adults.

The paper stated that the body of the embryos suggested that just like humans, the hatchlings would have required parental care - and if in this case, it would be the earliest known example of parental care."

A very interesting news. The news explain that they have discovered the oldest known dinosaur embryos, who lived some 190 million years ago.

Dinosaurs have always fascinated me, so I think that this news are exciting. I can't believe that they have found it! It's incredible... The science won't let us to surprise over and over. I hope that they will find a lot of news more about dinosaurs, because in my opinion they are very interesting.  

It has been also a great step for the knowledge of the dinosaurs and his evolution, so the people can imagine better how were dinosaurs.

We aren't normals. Craziness.

Africa and me were in class, and we started to invent a story. This day we had a exam of maths, and we started to say that the maths are invincible... and when we had the story, Africa said to me that we could record it with english, and so we would have got a post for the blog. 


In home, I recorded the scenes that we have invented with playmobils and other toys. And that's the result:

Jack Sparrow in a primary school

"The star Johnny Depp is currently in south-east London filming the fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie On Stranger Tides and arrived at the Meridian Primary School dressed in full character as Captain Jack Sparrow.

He made the one-off trip after nine-year-old pupil Beatrice Delap wrote to the star asking for help staging a 'mutiny' against the teachers, as he was filming at the nearby 18th century Old Naval College.

The school was told just ten minutes before that Depp would be arriving and two blacked-out cars swept through the school gates.

An onlooker said she heard the most 'incredible screams of joy' as the actor, in full make-up, then entered the school.

In an interview on London Tonight after the visit, Beatrice revealed what she had written in the letter to the star - or rather his salty seadog alter ego.

She said: 'Captain Jack Sparrow, At Meridian Primary School, we are a bunch of budding young pirates and we were having a bit of trouble mutiny-ing against the teachers, and we'd love if you could come and help.

'Beatrice Delap, aged nine, a budding pirate.'

She said that she was then asked by the star to make herself known from the assembled pupils once he arrived, and gave her a cuddle.

Beatrice marvelled: 'He gave me a hug and he said, "Maybe we shouldn't mutiny today 'cos there are police outside monitoring me."'

This news is talking about the visit of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow in a primary school of London. A girl called Beatrice, wrote a letter to Jack Sparrow because she wanted that he helps them to staging a mutiny agains the teachers. Johnny Depp were recording Pirates of the Caribbean near, so he visited the school.

After read this news, I love more Johnny, he's so cute! It was a great detail for the girl. She's very lucky! When I read the news a days ago, it seemed to me funny. The girl wanted that Jack help them against the teachers! A little pirate.
I think that Johnny was very happy when he received the letter... And well, I suppose the girl was happy too!

Johnny a time ago said: "Sure, I find it touching, honestly, but awards are not as important to me as when I meet a ten-year-old kid who says, "I love Captain Jack Sparrow"... that's real magic for me." Isn't he cute? :) 

Now, the girl has made her dreams true, and after this act, Johnny will be more loved for the people. Moreover, this visit in the primary school has been publicity for the movie, in my opinion.

In summary... If I send now a letter to Edward Scissorhands... he will came at home? I hope it!

The Hobbit to begin filming next year

Filming on The Hobbit is set to begin in February after it was finally given the go-ahead by film studio bosses.

Warner Bros also announced that Peter Jackson, who directed the Oscar-winning Lord of the Rings trilogy, would helm the two-part prequel.

The films, based on JRR Tolkien's book, had been delayed for months due to MGM Studios' - which owns half the project - ongoing financial woes.

According to industry paper Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros and MGM reached a deal allowing MGM to cover its half of the production, estimated to cost a total of $500m (£313m).

Jackson, who co-wrote the screenplays and is also producing the films, originally hired Mexican-born Guillermo Del Toro to direct, but he pulled out in June citing almost two years of delays.

Last month, the project was threatened further after Jackson warned production could cease or be moved from its location in New Zealand over a pay wrangle with acting unions.

In a statement, Jackson said: "Exploring Tolkien's Middle-earth goes way beyond a normal film-making experience. It's an all-immersive journey into a very special place of imagination, beauty and drama. We're looking forward to re-entering this wondrous world with Gandalf and Bilbo."

This news are talking about the future project The Hobbit, which is set to begin in February. The project has been stopped for a long time, because they had some problems to record the movie in New Zealand, but now it seems that they will start. Really, I can't imagine The Hobbit without being recorded in New Zealand!

I'm happy because Peter Jackson will record the two movies of The Hobbit. At first, he said that he wouldn't record them, but at last it's the contrary. I like it because he recorded the trilogy of The Lord of the Rings, and I think that he have to record The Hobbit too.

The two films will be recorded with 3D. I disagree with that, because I hate this 3D craze. There is no release dates for the movies have been given, so we have to wait.

It will be a great time to back in the Middle-Earth again, for all this people that love Tolkien's world. I think that it will be another blockbuster, as the Lord of the Rings.

In summary, I hope that the adventures of Bilbo and Gandalf surprise us, like the adventure of the destruction of the Ring.

Danny Elfman and Howard Shore

Danny Elfman

He was born May 29 in 1953, is an American musician, best known for composing music for television and movies. He is a frequent collaborator with long-time friend Tim Burton and has scored most of his films (the exceptions being Ed Wood and Sweeney Todd).

Elfman is famous too, for creating The Simpsons main title theme, and his role as Jack Skellington's singing voice in The Nightmare Before Christmas.

I heard about him through Tim Burton movies, altough when I was younger I had listened a lot of his soundtracks without knowing that was scored by him. I love the music he does, I think that's awesome. He has a great talent and he can change the movie with only his music...

Tim Burton and Danny are a great team. They have a good combination between the movie and the music. They can create magic!

I like listen songs by him. Normally I listen the songs of him that appears in Burton's movies, but I listen of the other movies too, and I think that all them are fantastic. The soundtrack of Spider Man is scored by him, and I remember that when I was younger I loved it very much, but I didn't know who was Danny Elfman.

If I have to choose a song of him... it's difficult, but I think that I would choose The Ice Dance of Edward Scissorhands. May be because this song/movie is very special for me...

Howard Shore

Howard was born October 19 of 1946. He's a Canadian composer, notable for his film scores. He has composed the scores for over 40 movies, but he's famous for the soundtrack of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, for which he won three Academy Awards.


He's my another favorite musician. I know who is him for The Lord of the Rings. When I listened the soundtrack some years ago, it impressed me a lot. It was as a revelation for me... My brother, who is a great fan of the trilogy too, bought all the CDs of the soundtrack by Howard Shore, and I started to listen his music.

Well, I haven't listened a lot of music of him, like Danny Elfman. Only The Lord of the Rings, Ed Wood, and some more... But I know that he has a great talent, and I think that The Lord of the Rings is awesome for the soundtrack too.

Really, now I want to explain the way his music makes me feel, but I can't. I don't find any words! May be is because is like magic... I don't know. Only I want to say: INCREDIBLE. 

In the mixpod of my blog, there are two songs of the soundtrack of The Lord of the Rings. In dreams (very beautiful and so sweet...), and Concerning Hobbits! I love it!! When I'm listening it I'm feeling as I'm in The Shire...

 Peter Jackson and Howard Shore

The end of Harry Potter saga.

I want to talk about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the last book of the saga by J.K. Rowling. I think that all the books are incredible, but the last it is awesome... 

Harry, Ron and Hermione are searching the horrocruxes of Voldemort for can kill him. It will be the last battle... all the book is full of great adventures that can capture your attention since the first time. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, you must to read this book!

The characters that we knew, have changed a lot during all the books. Now some are more mature, some other has converted in evils... and some other are not what we thought. The book hypnotizes at you, and it lets not stop to read at you. Rowling has done a great work with all the saga, and I think that the 7th book is the best final that she could write.

It may be is because I am a great fan of Harry Potter... but I think that this book are perfect. So I do not found nothing wrong, negative. As I said, Rowling have done a fantastic work.

Simply, it is a great final for a great saga. It is amazing, full of adventures, drama, mystery... but there are so much love too, and it is beautiful and magic. Yes, I think that magic it is the right word. In sumarize, I advise at all the people that read it, especially who have been beside Harry since always, and who want to be with all them at their last adventure.

I want to talk about a song that's very special for me. The song is May it Be, by Enya. He's a great singer in my opinion... he has an incredible and sweet voice... :)

I think that this song is talking about Frodo Baggins. Well, I'm sure. The song seems that gives hopeless to Frodo with his mission of destroy the Ring. It may be is talking about Sam, Gandalf, Aragorn, Merry, Pippin, Legolas, Gimli... or all the people who fighted against Sauron.. but I have always thought with Frodo everytime that I have listened the song.... Uff.. I have sang this song to Frodo so many times :) he was my first "love" when I was 7 or 8!

I believed that he could do the mission because he has a strong character,. I always was beside him, altough he couldn't see me. And he still being very special for me... He's my little hobbit! ♥

As a conclusion, yes, may be all the people will think that I'm... inmature? a dreamer? a person who doesn't live in the real world? well, and if it's true... what happens? I'm happy living in my own world where all is possible, and where I can love Frodo altough he doesn't "exist"... because for me all this is real. I'm in my own Neverland... yes, it's true that all this happens into my head... but this doesn't mean it isn't real!

Email to teacher

Hello teacher! I'm Natàlia Sellés and I'm 16 years old. Last year I got a 10 of English, so this year I hope that I get good marks too.

If I have to explain something about me only appears one thing in my head... I love cinema. It's incredible how you can disappear for moments watching a film. And it's also incredible how one film can enter very inside of a person...
My favorite director of cinema is Tim Burton. I think that he's a genious. His films are very strange... therefore I love all them. I adore Peter Jackson too, but I've only seen 5 movies of him... The three films of The Lord of the Rings, The Lovely Bones and King Kong. Of Tim Burton I've seen all his movies and all them are incredibles!
And well, my favorite actor is Johnny Depp. I really discovered him with Edward Scissorhands two years ago... After see this film and Sweeney Todd, I was very impressed and I began to see movies of them. And my "obsession" continuous.

I love english language. I always see my favorites movies in english! I see also interviews and I read magazines with english.
Listening interviews and movies in this language, I can hear differents accents. For example, Peter Jackson is from New Zealand and he has got a different accent that Johnny Depp, that he's from EEUU.

My dream is go to New Zealand after the College for live there. I started to love this country after to see The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, and after did the "Credit de Sintesi" in 3rd of ESO of it too. In the College I want to do Audiovisual Communications :)

Well, the last thing to say is that I hope this year will be allright, and I hope I can approve with good marks this subject!

Now I'm going to talk about my 4 boys, my best friends Brian, Víctor, Pau and Jean.

Jean, apart of be my cousin, is my best friend too. We have lived a lot of "adventures", and we are together since we were children.

He lives in St.Feliu de Guíxols, and we don't see each other very much... but every summer he came to my house, and for Christmas and Easter holidays too. Some weekends, my parents and I go to St.Feliu.

Jean is very sociable, and he's always laughing and he tells us a lot of stories. 
We love watch movies, and always that he come here, at night we watch some movies (most times is The Lord of the Rings... we are a freaks of this story! we have to take a lot of coffee to watch all the movie, because we start to see it at 2 am...)

For me, he's like one brother. As my real brother is 24 years old, he don't go with my parents and I since he was 18. So when we go on holidays somewhere, Jean came with us. We love go to amusement parks! We have gone to PortAventura and Tibidabo a lot of times, and two years ago we went to Parque Warner.

We have lived together a lot of experiences... :)

Pau and I are together since we were children. He has been always with me!

He live in Girona, but he has got a house in St.Pere, my village, and every weekend and every holidays, he come here. 

I love meet with him, because we are best friends and we have always got something to do. Walking, watch films, make cakes, play to the videogames,... and well, in the summer we meet almost everyday. We go on bycicle, to the beach, to the pool, to play tennis,... and take a lot of photos! We want to do almost the same thing in the future... He want to study publicity, and I want to study Audiovisual Comunication.

We are close friends, we know each other very well. I talk about all with Pau, about any thing...

As Jean, Pau and me have had a lot of experiences together. I have grew up with them, so we know each other very well. We are like brothers too. 

When we were child, we were always playing together. In summer, we went every night on bycicle for the village, we played Pokémon, we were imagining all the day... well, we were always together. Every time I remember my past, I see Pau everywhere!

I hope that he will be always with me... he's my little racoon!

Víctor is other of my best friends. We met two years ago for the "fotolog" (thank you fotolog!)
Then, we started to talk with the MSN, and I discovered that Víctor is incredible. 

We haven't seen each other a lot of times, because he lives in Barcelona... but I know that the few days that we have met have been fantastic and I remember them with a great smile. 

We love the cinema, so we have watched a lot of films together. This summer we have watched the filmography of Tim Burton :) Victor and I have got a lot of things in common, so I love talk with him! 

We love amusement parks too, so we must go together to PortAventura RIGHT NOW.

I think that he's a great artist. He plays the piano, and he writes some stories that I love... he have a lot of imagination, and I admire him for that. Moreover, last summer we had invented a new language called Yerzlev! (we're stranges.)

He's very important to me, and I don't want to lose him never. Maybe we don't have met so many times, but we have lived a lot of experiences together, and I remember all them with a big smile. We can be talking hours and hours (well, now with the "Batxillerat" we are busy and we can't talk much...), but always that I'm talking with him I'm in another world.

Finally, my Brian. I met with him a year ago, because we were in the same class. But it was between March and April when we become best friends. (thanks partly to the class of latin).
He began to mean everything for me :) and on June, we finally fell in love...
Apart of be my boyfriend, he's my best friend too. I always want to be with him, because beside him I'm feel secure, calm and happy.

He's a little solitary, or that was my opinion the first time I saw him. Then, when I started to know about him, I discovered that he's incredible. I love him especially because he's excentric. He don't want to be like the other people. He have a great personality, and that's what I like of a person.
At first he seemed a little shy, but now not so much. Maybe that is because we are more united, and there's more confidence between us.
We love watch movies together too. (yes, my best friends and me are a little cinephiles!) I think that our movie are Moulin Rouge. I don't know, but always that I watch this film, I remember Brian :)
He's a great person, and I think that he can make his dreams true. The problem is that he doesn't believe in himself... But I know that he has talent about what he enjoy doing. 
Moreover... he's my musician! :D
Our dream is going to New Zealand when we'll be 18. I want to live there.. .and I hope that Brian will be beside me! And well, we MUST travel a lot!

Aquarius

The people who has born between 22 January and 19 February is Aquarius. I was born 4 February, so I am Aquarius. I didn't believe in the horoscop, but when I read the characteristics of the people who are Aquarius, I realized that I'm identical as they say. 

"The Aquarius have got a strong and atractive personality. There are two kind of Aquarius: one is shy, sensible and patient. The other is exuberant, sharp and he can hide the depths of his personality into a frivolous air."
I think that I've got a little bit of both. I'm a little shy, very sensible, but I'm not very patient. And yes, I often hide the depths of my personality into a frivolous air... 

They say we are the more tolerants and without prejudices of all the zodiac, because we can see the two sides of the arguments. The truth is that I'm quite tolerant...

"An Aquarius is sincere, refined and idealist. Almost all the Aquarius are intelligents and logicals. A lot of they are imaginative and psychics.  Sometimes they feel the need of fly away from the world to meditate or think. They deny to follow the crowd"

It's 100% true in my case. Well, I'm not logical... but I'm very imaginative and psychic. And overcoat, a lot of times I fly away from this world to think and meditate about things. My parents and friends have said it to me a lot of times, that I'm not almost in the real world. 

And of course, I deny to follow the crowd. I hate it, overcoat if they are doing stupid things for me, as listen to electronic music, smoking a lot or wear expensive clothes.

That's true. Since always I have had problems to make friends. I know a lot of people, but I don't have a lot of real friends. But when someone becomes my friend, I love him very much, and I'm ready to help him.

"For the negative side, an Aquarius is unpredictable and they always argues. They aren't very emotional, and they don't understand the emotional complexity of other people and betrayal between friends either. They don't like all that is daily and the imitations either."

I have got a lot of defects, and one of them is that I'm always argues with the people. 

In sumarize, the Aquarius are as air (their element). Our mind is always away from here....

The Shire

The Shire is a fictitious place created by Tolkien in The Lord of the Rings. It's situated at the West of the Middle Earth, and it was, since the 17th century of the Third Aged of the Sun, the home of the hobbits.

The Shire is described as a small but beautiful and fruitful land, beloved by its inhabitants. The Hobbits had an extensive agricultural system in the Shire but were not industrialised. Various supplies were produced in the Shire, including cereals, fruit, wood and pipe-weed.

The hobbits live in "holes" into the green hills. I think that their houses are warm and very beautiful.

Except in few natural disasters and with the only raid of orks in 2747, the green lands of The Shire were a pacific region, and their habitants didn't know almost anything of the world outside.

However, the peace of The Shire was altered unexpectedly. The hobbit Bilbo Baggins found the ring of the Dark Lord, Sauron. Bilbo, after all, gave the ring at his nephew Frodo Baggins. 

Another of my dreams (yes, I have a lot.) is live in The Shire. Since I saw the Lord of The Rings when I was 7, I want to live there. So New Zealand is the best place for me. I know that when I'll go to Matamata (Hobbiton), there won't be hobbits, but the houses still being there!

It seems it's the most peaceful place in the world. All the hobbits seem happy, they're always singing, dancing, smiling, laughing, smoking, drinking, loving... Certainly, for me it's the greatest place where anyone can go. It's a longing that I've never known... and unfortunately, I won't never know. That's the price I have to pay for dream.

 

One thing that I love, is listen the soundtrack of The Lord of the Rings. It can carry me to the Middle-Earth... 

 

It's... it's... I can't explain with words how make me feel this song. I'm feeling like a hobbit, who lives in The Shire, happy and smiling. I'm feeling good, without problems, as if I live in another (and more better) world. I'm flying away... 

In my village festival in summer, at the end of the concert they put this song and I almost cry. (yes, I'm very sensitive...) I was feeling like a real hobbit who lives really in The Shire. Moreover, it seemed the real Shire, because the festival was celebrated in the forest of the village, and all the people were dancing, smiling, drinking, smoking and all they were happy as hobbits.  

So all that I have to do now is wait. Wait to grow up and go to New Zealand...

Harry Potter ♥

Harry Potter. Everyone knows him, right? Rowling managed to change the world with her books. And really, she changed a lot my own world.

Harry Potter and his adventures are with me since I was 7 years. I saw the first movie, and I loved it very much, so I started to read the first 4 books that my parents bought to my brother. With 7 years old, I read the 4 books. After, I had to wait until that the fifth was published, and then the sixth and finally the seventh.And obviously, I prefer the books than the movies. (although the movies are incredibles, but the story of the book is more spectacular). So I can say that Harry has been always with me... :) And I have been always beside him, trying to help him in his adventures. Well, I haven't been only with Harry, but with all of them. Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Sirius, Hagrid, Snape...

I can consider me a "freak" of Harry Potter. I have read the 7 books about 5 times or more each, and the last year, in the movie of Harry Potter and the half-blood prince, I went to the cinema dressed up of Harry. I also bought the 5th, 6th and 7th book the first day that them were released. And well.. I know some of their spells! Sometimes in home, I take the magic wand (I bought it when I dressed up of Harry Potter some years ago), and I say some spells! My dream has always been go to Hogwarts... When I was younger, I wrote letters to my parents saying that I was in Hogwarts with Harry! I wished it so much...
Now, I'm living a little more in the reality (well...no. I'm always dreaming...) than before, and I don't write letters to my parents (but I still want to go to Hogwarts... now, I would be doing homework of Potions and not this blog.)

Right now, I'm reading the 7th book again (I think it's my favorite... but I don't know, because every time I read each, I think that all are incredible and perfect...). The first part of the 7th movie's going to open November 19! I prefer that they have recorded the movie in two parts, because this film must be incredible like the book!! (because I think that the other movies weren't very faithful with the book... except the first and the second. By the way, the soundtrack of the movies are AWESOME!)

Harry Potter and the deathly hallows is a great end for a great story, but I think that it's so sad... I cried a lot because in this part there are many people who die... attention SPOILER. For example, I don't understand why Fred Weasley die! and Remus, Tonks... I was so sad when I read that Snape also die... Severus Snape it's a great character! He has always been like the evil, but he's the bravest wizard that I've ever known (as Harry says in the book). The final of the book is so nice, but... The childs of Harry and Ginny, Ron and Hermione go to Hogwarts too. That's nice, and there's no more Voldemort!

I could be talking about Harry Potter hours and hours... but I stop now. I only want to say that my books of Harry Potter are my hallows :) and I will be always with them...

Story of a life

Once upon a time, there was a man called Tim Lewik. He lived in Heidelberg, with his family. He worked on what he liked most: the cinema. It was the most incredible thing that he had ever found. For him, it was so east to disappear from the world through the cinema...

It was not until 1944, that que hit the ground with his feet for the first time. His son, his only son who he loved very much, died in World War II. You could'n express with milions of movies or words the pain that he felt inside. These feelings, were growing more and more every day, until his life became a nightmare. Every day was hell for him. He wanted to do eveything to get his son back. He could try to revive it with electricity, like Frankenstein or maybe his son was close to him, in his heaven. It was then that he began making spiritual rituals to turn him into how he was. This made him obsessed with everything that was his, which already passed. He couldn't see reality. He couldn't see his wife, or people in general, not even his dog Sparky. 

His wife, Ari Owar, decided to help him as much as possible, but he never wanted help. With so much pain, Ari decided to join him in an asylum in 1947, so that the professionals could help him and try to get his pain out.

There, in the asylum, he discovered many things that he were ignoring. He discovered music, playing the piano and doing it the way he liked it. The way to express himself through painting, knowing well his own art. He found each and every character that had appeared in his films. He saw them beside him, advising him on what to do. His whole life had become a sweet nightmare, an illusion. And it was then that he started writing the script for his next film, after several years out of this world.

After a few months, waking up, he found someone he had never imagined finding in the foot of his bed with white sheets. He was there, watching him and smiling. Those green eyes of his mother, or wife for Tim, with the long hair disheveled. His son. Just as he had falled into a big hole due to the death of his son, in the same way his son got him with these words:

- "Father, you must be strong and go forward. It's taking too long. My mother miss you very much. You have been my whole life for me, literally, but I've only been a chapter of yours. Don't be afraid to express your feelings, father. You have a lifetime ahead and you can fight any obstacle. Make more movies father. Tell our story..."

He closed his eyes for a moment and when he reopened them, the face of his son had disappeared, but not this presence. From the air, he heard "I love you...", and the only answer he knew was "Me too, my son... me too..."

Things have improved a lot for Tim since that moment. He left the asylum and life smile at him again. Because there is always some reason to continue forward, to find happiness. So he said:

-This is the story of my life. I was about to disappear from the real world, but as you can see, I'm still here. I mean, everyone of you don't give up, never. Experience things, and know who you are more and more. People who die, do not go unless you forget them first. They're still here, like a short breath around you. I could say many things, but why? All I need to tell yourself is: I wish you all a long and happy life."

People applauded when the film finished. All with a smile and more sensitive those who were with some tears. 

This was not the las film of Tim Lewik. He made many more and he also bought a piano. Undoubtedly, he lived happily ever after, beside his wife.

News- Johnny and Vanessa

In the language room, I read an article about Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, his wife.

• What is it about?

The article explains that Vanessa is worried because Angelina Jolie is very closely with her husband Johnny Depp in the movie that they were recording, "The Tourist". They were very close together.

• How does it affect you?

It affect me a little, because I love Johnny! (he's my favorite actor).
I hope that he doesn't let Vanessa for Angelina, because they're a great couple for me (I'm a little jealous of Vanessa, but...). Part of this, they have two children, and if they separate, the children will suffer.

• How does it affect the people around you?

Well, it affects at the people because they're very famous (especially affects at the paparazzies and journalists). The fame seems incredible, but I think that it can hurts too. It seems that you can't be a normal person, and that you haven't got any privacy. (for this reason Johnny bought a island lost to the seas of Caribbean. )


Simply, I hope everything ends well, and that Johnny make more movies! I will see them all!

Where the hell is Matt?

A great friend of mine, Víctor, showed me this video. While I was watching it, and after see it, I was stunned. It's so amazing...

The first time I saw it, I started to laugh: "what is this man doing?!!". But after, you can't stop to see it... for me it's spectacular. When you're watching it, you feel the world is more small, that all we are together, that we all are in the same world. And I'm feel good. People of different places, of different cultures, of different languages... united for the Matt's dance. Simply... without words!

The theme, it's a great idea. Record Matt and other people dancing for the world... It needs a lot of time, but the result it's fantastic!

Moreover, the song's incredible! It helps too much at the video. The song is peaceful, but at the same time it's powerful.

Everytime I see the video, I want to travel a lot... and visit all this places for my own, and why not, dance too. This is another dream of mine... travel a lot. Visit all the world, and take photos about all the things... 

Simply: Congratulations for Matt and the people who have collaborated in the video!

I ♥ New Zealand

New Zealand is an island (well, two islands) of Oceania, that interest me very much.  The land of the maori and of the rugby... I love it since I saw The Lord Of The Rings for first time, when I was 9 years old. The landscapes in the movie fascinated me so, that I started to search about where was the movie recorded. When I found that the movie was recorded in New Zealand, I started to search new things about the country. How that island so away from the world can be so perfect? The country fascinated me more.

After a time, I wasn't obsessed so with New Zealand. But in 3th ESO, we had to do the "Credit de Sintesi" about one country of the world. My first thinking was New Zealand... so I did the work of her. If I thought that this country fascinated me, after do the work I fell in love with her.

So my dream has always been go to New Zealand... and can see all with my own eyes. And go to Hobbiton!! :D (Hobbiton is now an turistic place in Matamata)

And why not, in Mórdor too (Tongariro). There are the black lands, but a very blue lake too.

Well, I want to visit all New Zealand. Because all there is special. So when I grow up more, I want to live there.. because I know if I travel here, I can't return... 

I have been talking with the daughter of a friends of my parents, who has been living in New Zealand for 6 months. She said to me that there all is better. Part of the landscapes and the magic of the land, there are more money than here, and you can find work very easily. But in New Zealand the immigration's very controled. You can't live there forever if you aren't of there. You only can if you are married with someone of there, or if you contribute money to the country.
That for me it's a good idea, because as the country's very beautiful, many people would go there, and not all of them would work. So the country would end with crisis (like Spain now).

The exotic animals, the amazing landscapes, all the activities you can do there... wow. Incredible. Also, I loooveee photography! So what better way to use the camera? ♥ Only of think about can do photos in New Zealand my heart starts to beat faster!! For this reason Peter Jackson recorded there The Lord of the Rings... (well, because he's from the green islands too. Man lucky)

Isn't it beautiful? I haven't got any words for describe it...

All there seems so peaceful, so imposible....

In my opinion: New Zealand aren't of this world. It CAN'T be of this world!!

Summarizing, New Zealand for me it's a great place. I haven't been there yet, but well.. I hope someday I'll see all with my own eyes :) But right now, I can only see it with movies, documentals and photos. And even in that way, I can't stop thinking of New Zealand... I'm mad!

Well, mad no... I only want to fly, fly away from here... And New Zealand is the best place for do that, and disappear of the world. That's my dream.
