Arrival of the Birds

Some weeks ago, a good friend of mine, Víctor, showed me this song. I loved it so much... I think that's so special. It expresses a lot of things, it lets your imagination fly. Days ago, I was listening the song, and a lot of scenes appeared in my head. So I started to listen again, and I started to write. I was writing what the song was saying to me. I wrote it in catalan, but now I have translated it in english. It isn't much, but it was what song inspired to me.

"I was escaping of the world. I felt a gentle breeze of a cold air around me in this so dark day. I was running through the forest, entering me in that fog where all disappeared; I heard the rustling of leaves under my steps, the branches were combing my hair, the green of the trees were stroking and receiving me in this place where the light didn't arrive. But I felt that, no matter how fast I was running, I didn't go anywhere. I felt completly lost, but suddenly I turned, and I saw it. I didn't know where I was, but I felt that at last I had arrived in my destiny. A terrorific yet hopeful light, was appearing in the middle of the forest, in the middle of nowhere. I decided to make my heart stronger, because a fear was starting to seize of mi, without any reason. And that was the impetus that got me start to run to this mysterious light. When I was near, I finally jumped into it. That was my first flight.

I was suspended in the air, surrounded by light, full of life. I lifted my arms with the intention to caress the heaven and to felt that I was part of the clouds that were on me. And suddenly, I started to fell down a cliff without bottom, but I wasn't afraid. I was falling without stop, and the air around me disappeared for a moment.. and then it was when I arrived in paradise.

I was looking around me for a long time. In this moment I knew that there weren't anything more amazing and beautiful anywhere of the big universe, that the place that I was seeing. The peace and harmony of that place, filled me. I had found at last a happinness that I've never knew before... and I returned to disappear. My self was divided into a thousand pieces and I became the air around me, in the own paradise. And so, I fought with the death; I became immortal."
